Bah - Stupid Frenchies!

It seems October is strike season in France! The Metro/train guys went on strike last week which caused a lot of problems for everyone, particularly those getting and from the airports. Lany has had a very difficult time getting to work and back each day.

But today the airline host/hostesses started striking too! So after getting all the way onto the bus which was taking us to the plane, we got returned to the terminal, then told our flight was canceled. We then had to wait in line for an hour and a half while they tried to find connecting flights, but there are none, and then we had to wait another thirty minutes in a different line to change flights to tomorrow.

The strike is planned until Monday, so even then there's no guarantee that it will go tomorrow!

In total, it cost about six hours of my day - bah!!

So if anyone is planning to holiday here in late October, watch out for strike season!
